On Tuesday, July 14th at 5:43 AM Eastern US time, the Sun and Moon will meet on the World Point of 21 degrees, 59 minutes. They're hanging out with Mercury in Cancer — who is of course still retrograde! — and all three are sitting right on the Ascendant, in the chart cast for Washington, DC. Notoriety abounds. Secrets are being revealed. And projects undertaken with this energy have a big, public impact. The South Node and Venus in Virgo are forming a Finger of God with Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune in Aries, inviting us to think PRACTICALLY about our hopes and dreams . . . and what our legacy will be. The Goddess of Love rules the Fourth House of home and family in the chart cast for Washington, DC. It's a good time to put your house in order: let go of what you don't need, to make room for more of what you do. (Do you LOVE it, or are you just used to it?) Venus and the South Node are also talking — by way of a trine — to Chiron in Taurus, and creating opportunities to heal both our physical and psychic wounds. (Maybe one leads to the other?) There's a helpful conversation to be had about self-indulgence vs. discipline: what makes you feel good, vs. what you THINK will make you feel good. What degree of rigor or relaxation is most supportive of your long-term growth? But wait, there's more! All this month, we have a deep, wide Basket configuration stretching across the sky: with Jupiter at 3 degrees Leo, Uranus at 4 degrees Gemini, Neptune at 4 degrees Aries, and Pluto at 4 degrees Aquarius: together they encourage us to gather up our thoughts, intentions, dreams, and self-esteem and make a clear decision about where we're going and what we're taking with us, before we go skipping along on our merry way at the end of July. We have a COUPLE of new, big dreams forming, as a matter of fact, with Mars and Uranus dancing together in Gemini. They just met up for their first conjunction in the sign of the Twins in 84 years, and they will make 4 more conjunctions over the next 8 years. We are exploring our options and, perhaps more importantly, exploring our EMOTIONS, with retrograde Mercury in Cancer ruling both Mars and Uranus in Gemini and Venus in Virgo.
