here is how i've been explaining PDS migration to the 115 users i've migrated: imagine your bluesky account as being an apartment. you're upset the rent is changing, so you move to a cheaper apartment on the other side of town. after you move, you have to update your address with the post office.

Can someone help @xeronimo.wsocial.eu ? @pds.dad nobody knows more than you on this topic. @wsocial.eu don’t have a migration feature and their account deletion is broken.

I did it. I finally migrated to @eurosky.social. Thanks to @support.wsocial.eu for fixing a bug that prevented me from. Big thanks to @liabelle.me and @caesar.dev for staying in touch with me at any time! My reason for the migration from @wsocial.eu to @eurosky.social:

A few things worth checking, beyond where the servers happen to sit: ✅ Can you take ALL your data out and leave? Real export, not a token CSV. ✅ If you switch providers, do you keep your identity, your network and your history... or do you start again from zero?

The migration tool is ready. You can now move your account to W from any AT Protocol provider, and out of W to any other. Fully automated, both directions. Your handle, your followers, your posts. They all come with you. Moving in still needs an invite code. Moving out never will.
