I had a MySpace account, MSN messenger and Google Chat, I first got on Facebook back when they required a school email to sign up, I had a Tumblr, though not a LiveJournal. I was super into reddit for a long time. Big fan of Fanfiction.net and later Archive of Our Own.

so it's like if we imagine a normal distribution but then we set super intense resonance at exactly the middle point. that's how it feels to be surrounded by AI writing every day. it's average *without* the normal distribution — just extreme dose of narrow average. this is what pushes my buttons

I've been giving this some more thought and I think I'm going to publish a follow up piece called @dholms.at was right. I think records moving between spaces with any integrity is effectively impossible. Blobs should keep using content hashes to dedup so a copy operation is free on the PDS
