has anybody tried asking an AI agent to help migrate an old platform account to atproto? eg, "migrate all my instagram posts to grain", or "migrate my twitter account to blacksky". like it requests and processes an export, matches following graph particularly fun if meta muse can do it

Migrating PDS Account with `goat` | bryan newbold (⛱️ sabbatical mode)
Account migration is an important feature of atproto, and has been possible in the live network since February of this year, but is still a bit scary and developer-oriented. As part of documenting the migration process, I recently implemented basic account migration in the goat CLI tool for atproto...

Attached: 2 images Dear Fedi friends, Apologies for another toot about #WSocial but I am genuinely shaking right now. The @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu and its president Ursula von der Leyen have recently migrated their ATproto (Bluesky) accounts to W Social. I cannot fathom why they would pick a private enterprise whose leaders didn't even have ATproto accounts 3 months ago... and who are so open to having their users' data mined to train European AI models. My articles on them: 🔗 : https://blog.elenarossini.com/tag/w-social/ Wow. Just wow.

Cosmik Updates: February 2026 - Cosmik Labs
@atproto.science @cosmik.network Raising a question for the ATProto science community: Can AI agents be legitimate participants in research ecosystems? What would make their outputs trustworthy?
this is probably going to be unpopular but: I think atproto’s best mainstream opportunity right now is if the AI labs realize that converting all the content on the internet into clean, structured data is way cheaper than scraping + also public and available in a handy dandy jetstream for ingestion

just for fun can we all brainstorm moonshot ways to get people onto the atmosphere
1/X I made an atproto proposal around PDS to PDS repo migration that gets around all of the pain points of account migration today and intentionally builds a migration flow for users to go to the PDS that they want to move to and commence the migration from there.

github.comweirdly ATProto also bridges mobile OS wars so well you wanna make the next Instagram in Swift on iOS and have it be insanely beautifully built by iOS experts à la Flighty? Ok, do it. Since the data is owned by the user, Android devs can build an incredible Android experience off the same data.
I'm building on atproto because I think that a single social network has essentially no shot of dethroning the current tech monopolies. But an open ecosystem of interoperating apps is so infinitely more interesting than legacy social that it seems almost inevitable it will win

Can everyone building on atproto please answer this question? 😇
Bluesky’s CTO @pfrazee.com has been hard at work building AI tools on atproto, he’s going to be presenting his explorations on Tuesday in SF and Wednesday at the Seattle AI meetup luma.com/zfjek18n

luma.comMy recollection of this is that even if you just pop a new ATProto account into existence and start spitting out `app.bsky.feed.post` records, they don't show up unless you actually go through a Bluesky onboarding & agreeing to ToS, so they should have an email for you through that process.
