atproto'd my website a bit further (beyond the @standard.site integration): 1) added a "Right now" box on the homage that pulls in all kinds of atproto activity like @bsky.app posts, @popfeed.social film ratings, @bookhive.buzz reads, @tangled.org repo's etc.

Welcome to the new atproto.com - AT Protocol
We've updated just about everything about atproto.com to make it easier for developers to just build things.

ATProto, POSSE, and Personal Sites
My little weekend experiment to bring micro updates to my personal site

atpotato
creating fun apps, helpful tools, and approachable content for the atproto and bsky ecosystem

I love atproto bc wdym I can post my @leaflet.pub posts to my @bsky.app and then those can show up immediately on my @blento.app AND people can read these posts from any other compatible atproto blogging site like @pckt.blog ???

First ever Leaflet?? And a homelab???
Seriously mild take: ATProto web clients should serve a <link rel="alternate"> containing an at:// URI I've just opened a PR to do this on Frontpage and atproto-browser. I'd for other clients to follow along with the convention! github.com/likeandscribe/frontpage/pull/…

github.comIs there interest in an ATProto service that given any URL, returns a unified backlink summary across the ecosystem? E.g., bookmarks on @semble.so , mentions on Bluesky or @standard.site , annotations in @margin.at, etc.
This is cool, like a mix of blog / digital garden / link log… strikes me that this kind of thing would be *really* good on atproto! Could be a single doc (like a @leaflet.pub looseleaf) & e.g. a new subpage each week, embed links or @semble.so collections, ppl can comment, re-share when updated…

I just published my weekly reflections: docs.google.com/document/d/1xRiCqpy3LMAgEsHdX… Safe as paintball. Infinite focus. Context rot. The betrayal of dumb tools becoming smart. Builders vs coders. Fossilized data. Reclaiming your data. Cooperation as transcendence. The candid aim test. Social alchemy.
Conversation here is very helpful framing for ATProto builders. The protocol has re-created the opportunity to restore the web as an open curation ecosystem that isn't controlled by any one platform, built not just on links between pages, but on the relationships between people, links and sources.

www.youtube.comTried to explain a bit of the use case of @varsityapex.com and why it made sense to integrate ATproto features. A full fledged site would make even more use, for the demo just opted to make records of non-score items. Tour: varsityapex.com/tour Was fun to explore the problem space a bit

Found a conventional use for atproto (replacing high school state associations/athletic conference/school sports websites) the other day and built a spec because I couldn't help myself. it's live but I'll share a blog post about it before sharing
my hot take is that @semble.so is on par with traditional search engines for atproto related topics (and it's only curated by people!)

Starting to get conspiratorial about how hard it is to Google atproto stuff. Why does "list of public atproto relays" not take me directly to pulsar.feeds.blue? For that matter, why does "pulsar.feeds.blue" not show up on Google whatsoever? There's no robots.txt, it's not that
