Campaign — Free Our Feeds
Launched in January 2025, the campaign set an ambitious target to raise enough funds to back the development of an ecosystem of applications and users for open social media, focused initially on the AT Protocol, which underpins Bluesky. Our funding targets include:
Building Your Own Feed: Getting Started
<Back to Bluesky How-To’s If you’ve been on Bluesky for a while, you are probably familiar with Feeds. Feeds are how you view content on the app. They range from the default Following (pos…

Bluesky recommended Feeds & Labelers 2025-11-2 | HILARY BAUMANN
Feeds I recommend for almost everyone: If you are only following the default feeds, I recommend checking out at least 2-3 more. Feeds based on the people / accounts you already follow: These will help you just see more of the people / accounts you follow especially if a few…

Had fun adding support for @standard.site to my blog. The richer preview card on #bsky looks neat. Another benefit is, since all the entries now live in the #ATmosphere, all kinds of #ATProto apps can index and display them. Putting this blog on ATProto with standard.site
rednafi.com@toni.bsky.team @alexbenzer.com i think yall need to wrestle with the fact that the app’s most distinctive feature (“custom feeds”) is something only (relative) nerds use and benefit from. normal people won’t swipe between many algorithms or whatever. have a look at past designs for “communities”
important update to the bluesky social-app repo for all the bluesky forks that exist already basically any social-app fork needs to change/remove a bunch of images, icons, etc. github.com/bluesky-social/social-app/blo…
Bluesky is scared to commit to making a universal app that works with any atproto lexicon. I am not. And am pretty committed to our social-app fork being able to work with more and more content types (short video, fintech, blogs, music, etc.) Acorn customers get this for their communities too.
Richard Ferro, MD MSc
Also, will any platforms using acorn have access to these integrations as well?
What would premium or subscription based Feeds look like for AT Protocol? github.com/bluesky-social/atproto/pull/4… That's something I think would be interesting to explore. Maybe a feed could do freemium too, like it'll give you x% of content for free, but by paying it becomes more frequently updated?
Hello world! We are building *personalized* feeds to help you make sense of research discussions on BlueSky! Pin our first feed below, which shows posts about papers from accounts you follow! Follow this account for more updates! bsky.app/profile/paper-feed.bsky.socia…
Paper Skygest
Feed by @paper-feed.bsky.socialpeople love the For You feed, and it shows in the numbers. it generates around 4% of post views inside feeds on Bluesky. that's amazing especially because it's operated by one dev, @spacecowboy17.bsky.social given its popularity, we've decided to give it a bump in visibility on the feeds page.
I'll go against the discourse. 280 contributors to repo.npmx.dev in 100 days. We only used bluesky for social comms. We asked while welcoming folks, and most of them got involved after reading our bsky posts. Thanks for building and running bluesky. This network is a great place to do open source 💙

Wild to see that @npmx.dev was the fastest-growing emerging open source organization by number of contributors in Q1 2026 according to osscar.dev. What is even more interesting: it was the only non-AI tool in the top 10.
there's 180?!?! of them listed here, not including general tools or bsky clients (those are separate collections). some are beta, alpha, or pre-release i also have a bsky list of apps/orgs that have accounts in my profile too. and @proto feed shows their posts + relevant posts from devs+enthusiasts
