Optimising ATproto applications is complicated (but that's okay) - Navyfragen App Blog

Porxie - a correct, fast ATProto blob proxy - Blooym
Building a self-hostable ATProto blob proxy for apps and communities, furthering the decentralised web.

Welcome to the new atproto.com - AT Protocol
We've updated just about everything about atproto.com to make it easier for developers to just build things.

Anyone else building on atproto hit the 1000-blobs/day-per-IP limit on uploadBlob? It's shared across all your users if your backend proxies uploads, so a few bulk imports on @currents.is ate up the whole quota and blocked unrelated users from saving images
If you have been using the atproto mcp server I released earlier this year it just got an overhaul. New embedded model, more accurate searches, background reindexing, and a few other goodies.

github.comfor other atproto ecosystem folks: most things are working smoothly, but you may be seeing slow (high p99) handle resolution (via HTTPS well-known) for *.bsky.social handles (even projects which don't rely on bsky services often need to resolve handles as part of interop)
Bluesky Status
We are seeing elevated errors and timeouts on some Bluesky-hosted services, and are investigating.
Scratching my own itch, I’ve built atfs.dev — an atproto native (self-hosted, for now) IPFS server! xRPC admin & upload, an HTTP gateway (for stored files only) and the ability to follow/mirror another instance. It even has RasPi-ready .img files! atfs.dev/manage/storage.atfs.dev
