Integrating Standard Site Into Bluesky · bluesky-social atproto · Discussion #4978
The Bluesky team is working on integrating site.standard.* lexicons. For people using the Bluesky app, this means that when they come across a link published with a Standard.site record, they’ll ge...

If I’m posting from the @mu.social app and reading on the @mu.social website and I’m hosted by @eurosky.social and my posts are bridged via @ap.brid.gy to the fediverse, do we still say I’m on Bluesky? And if not then what?

Bluesky is a dominating presence in microblogging on ATproto, I just posted from both Mu and Blacksky and they’re both still using app.bsky.feed.post records. But what if there was a community driven standard for microblogging the same way we have one for long-form posting with @standard.site?
also it is completely bonkers that @bsky.app requires you to select a "Hosting Provider" on login and i have to remember whatever @eurosky.social's address is. guys, if you want this decentralization thing to happen, it should not suck so much to use! the Bluesky app should just read it from my DID
Do @blackskyweb.xyz and @eurosky.social users know they have an atproto account? If Germ says "Log in with Bluesky (atproto)" do you know that is your option? Plz share!
Anyone know why Bluesky is so poorly integrated into @ifttt.bsky.social? A bookmark trigger seems pretty obvious. Something for @mu.social?
A new European microblogging app? Used to be the case that meant starting all over again. Not this time: I just logged in with the same @eurosky.social account I use for @bsky.app and it works. Starting to see the potential of decentralised socials.
Eurosky Social
Muve to the beat. Muve the conversation. Muve mountains. Today @eurosky.social announces mu.social, a new microblogging app to experiment with the future of social! 🪩💖
Added support for Standard.site to cross-posted Bluesky posts. This is a new convention for long-form blogging using the AT Protocol. Initially, you can think of it as extra metadata for your blog posts on Bluesky, with more interoperability between platforms possible later.
We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be working with @eurosky.social to help to define and develop open social web infrastructure for the AT Protocol! igalia.com/2026/03/18/Advancing-the-AT-P…

www.igalia.com1. My new preprint has its own bluesky account. Why? The problems facing social media & scientific publishing are similar: both are dominated by powerful oligopolies. The @atproto.com tech underlying bluesky that aims to solve the social media prob might also help solve the scientific pub prob 🧪 🧵

Today, Bridgy Fed begins expanding beyond microblogging, starting with long-form. If your Atmosphere (Bluesky, Blacksky, Eurosky, Northsky, etc.) account is bridged, all of your @standard.site publications and documents will bridge over to the Fediverse and the web 📜↔️📃 1/4 🧵
