Why are people talking about an everything app? Also what do you mean by everything? Because the real everything app is the mobile OS. Do we mean a handful of social/information modalities + payments? I mean that’s cool if the ux makes sense and better than separate apps. It’s not “everything”.

I saw some talk about "everything apps" and it got me thinking a little bit about it. With the Atmosphere I feel like a really cool part about it is that we can make all of our apps "everything" apps. It's not "my app's data" or "your app's data" anymore. We can color outside the lines.

AT protocol doesn’t play zero-sum, winner-takes-all games. “European X?” No, European data sovereignty for all of x/y/z in amicable competition. “Killer app?” No, interoperable apps as the monopoly-killer. “Everything-app?” No, everything-account in a pluriverse of user-owned software.
