Launches: Credible Exit, Bridged User Notifications, & Fediverse Re-Bridge
Today, we’re announcing a bunch of migration features and improvements across Bridgy Fed and Bounce. The main goal we had with these latest updates was to make it so people can migrate in every direction possible across ecosystems while reducing the friction of migrating while using our services. Bounce Update: PDS Provider Migrations
Today, we're launching a long-awaited feature for Bounce: migrating your Atmosphere account that lives in Bridgy Fed out of the bridge and into a PDS provider of your choice, Bouncing you from the Fediverse to the Atmosphere without ever needing to create an account. 0:00 /0:05 1× Bounce

Two pieces of good news for W Social: 1) I may have found the problem that has bricked their network for the past week. 2) This may very well be the LAST article I ever write about them. It's exhausting and stressful and I want to retire from this beat and go back to promoting the Fediverse. Thank you all for your support and encouragement. And to my trusted source (a Fedi friend) who found and shared with me brilliant gems: THANK YOU! It's been a real honor collaborating with you ❤️
happy Monday, I wrote up my decision-making around our new endpoints.bsky.app HTTP reference! Thanks everyone for the push to do this 😊

alex-bsky.leaflet.pubOur April updates are out! (Sorry we're a bit late - in a busy stretch here) On launching @semble.so connections, and lots of community contributions 🫶 "Sense is being made" -- @joebasser.com
Cosmik Updates: April 2026
blog.cosmik.networkSo exciting! Huge props to @bnewbold.net, @dholms.at, et al for making this happen. Definitely still a long journey ahead but this is a huge step! 👏
Good news we are adding @semble.so support to @infoenon.com! I've been lacking with connections and community outreach lately but that ends today. We will also be adding at least 3 others in the coming months to be natively surfaced and shown on our platform!
One thing I left out of my The Everything Account piece was a whole section on Bridgy Fed. Short version: As Bridgy Fed adds more lexicons, it makes the Atmosphere the most versatile and data-owning Fediverse instance in the open social web. Perhaps in a future piece 😉

I wrote about what I've been calling "The Everything Account" If you're familiar with The Atmosphere, you already know how to get one, and this should hopefully help you explain it to others. For those of you who aren't, you'll be surprised to know you already have one; here's how you use it:
It's release week at the house, and here's our next announcement: Mise en Mode, the emerging web standard! AT Protocol is a federated model for building social media apps like Bluesky. We want folks in the Atmosphere to adopt for supporting a visitor's own look over their own. standard.mode.place
standard.mode.place: carry your look from app to app
standard.mode.placeToday, Bridgy Fed begins expanding beyond microblogging, starting with long-form. If your Atmosphere (Bluesky, Blacksky, Eurosky, Northsky, etc.) account is bridged, all of your @standard.site publications and documents will bridge over to the Fediverse and the web 📜↔️📃 1/4 🧵
