Totally forgot to tell you about the best feature of AtmoPay: subscriptions work across app boundaries. Here a screenshot from @skeetsapp.com that unlocks the same creator content for the subscriber.

AtmoPay — payments for the open social web
Set your prices once. AtmoPay publishes them to your own account and settles the money, so every app that reads your profile can sell for you.

I don't know what the fuss is about. Anthropic's rules on using subscriptions are very simple:Claude Code = OKClaude's online platform = OKAgent SDK running in personal software = OK... ish?Agent SDK running in commercial software = NOT OKClaude Code running in CI = ??Oh,… https://t.co/IDYSh7QPOo— Matt Pocock (@mattpocockuk) April 4, 2026
Atmosphere Account
One account for all your apps. Yours to keep, wherever you go.

Pretty stoked to unveil something I’ve been working on for a few months: AtmoPay - a Payment Service Provider aiming at providing creators a monetization rail on the Open Web. atmopay.birdsongapps.com
I realise I'm probably pretty dense but the stansite subscription UX perplexes me. I hit the subscribe button. I'm not subscribed, but sent to blog landing page and asked to install an app. (But isn't the idea that I can subscribe to a stansite without installing multiple apps?).../1

Hello! I've been at Bluesky for a bit over a month now and have a lot of thoughts, which are now going to be tucked away in this cute lil blog on @pckt.blog First up: Atmospheric Groups, an effort that we are working on in the Atmosphere community that I'm very excited about 👀👀

What would premium or subscription based Feeds look like for AT Protocol? github.com/bluesky-social/atproto/pull/4… That's something I think would be interesting to explore. Maybe a feed could do freemium too, like it'll give you x% of content for free, but by paying it becomes more frequently updated?
this is really great, and i'm glad that you're thinking about it!! I just started building @atmobb.app and wanted to build a way for it to pull in topics from similar forums and landed on subscribing to a "topic" for those forums. very excited to see what happens!!
So of course we followed suit with the @standard.site integration! The subscription buttons now appear in your activity stream, both when you publish an article, or when you post (or repost) it on @bsky.app Check out how this looks on the Profile-of-the-Day from @renderg.host:
