







basically I really want good ways to surface & recognize people who are meaningful participants in the atmosphere-blogosphere as opposed to e.g. big publishers passively cross-posting b/c they want more reach, but w/o the attendant social engagement that actually makes that valuable for both sides

Atmosphere social client apps should make it easier to broadcast beyond the protocol. Ex. In-app mirroring tools for Threads, X, and other microblogging platforms. As well as having post scheduling. Let people share across the social internet, but make sure ATproto feels like home base.
How can developers better entice more people to join the Atmosphere? I think one potentially fruitful approach is to combine "you have one account you can use to log into lots of things" with "and those lots of things come pre-populated with all your friends." Here, Atmosphere shines.
