I've released my first tagged version of Porxie alongside a write-up which details why I built it and why non-Bluesky ATProto platforms should consider moving away from using Bluesky's CDN. I've been using it to replace cdn.bsky.app while browsing Bluesky for 2 weeks now, and it's been great.

cdn.blueat.net is an alternative to the Bluesky CDN that's just as fast but powered by Cloudflare Workers with extra features.
BlueAT Network (@blueat.net)
Looks like Bluesky is having some issues with their CDN for some users. But not us, because we use the Blueat CDN, here's how you can use it: Open witchsky.app and go to Settings Navigate to the Runes section Find the Custom CDN field and enter cdn.blueat.net Images will now load directly from CDN! https://cdn.blueat.net

Be Wary of Bluesky
Bluesky promises decentralization, but nearly every user's data sits on Bluesky's servers, and every new ATProto app reinforces that centralization. T
Now that there's a use for cdn.blueat.net, I updated the landing page.

cdn.blueat.net also works with witchsky[.app]!
Bluesky is scared to commit to making a universal app that works with any atproto lexicon. I am not. And am pretty committed to our social-app fork being able to work with more and more content types (short video, fintech, blogs, music, etc.) Acorn customers get this for their communities too.

Also, will any platforms using acorn have access to these integrations as well?

Stray product(s) idea. A class of atproto apps should be spa's (single page apps) installable directly to our pds @wisp.place style. Apps should be distributed, not hosted. I should be able to install the Bluesky app to bluesky.captaincalliope.at, and then install that to my phone and desktop.
It's hard for non-technical people to understand that #atproto (Bluesky, and friends) really is a different breed of social software. One where our data, and connections are no longer taken hostage by the platform and we're free to store our data wherever we want
The next member of the ATProtoKit family, ATLexiconTools, is now live! 🥳 github.com/ATProtoKit/ATLexiconTools (I don't know why Bluesky isn't picking up the link's image; it should be able to do it...) #ATProto #Swiftlang #atdev

github.comThere are some questions about this service, especially since it seems to be from Bluesky (the company): -> github.com/bluesky-social/account-info Is this supposed to be a generic atproto service? Does this "promote" or "ossify" the Blueksy account lexicon now deeply into atproto as the canonical "account"?
