The Protopian Prize | The Fiction Contest
The Protopian Prize is a fiction contest inviting you to share your vision of people working toward liberatory futures, meeting obstacles, and making real change. “Protopian”—a word coined by Kevin Kelly, one of our contest's judges—means an achievable, optimistic future characterized by continuous, incremental progress rather than revolutionary leaps or a static, perfect state. Protopian stories imagine a future that is neither flawless nor catastrophic, but instead workably better than today. It’s about plausible progress rather than perfection or collapse.

It's a long one 😬 Spent most of my weekend working on the fixes and writing the blog. As well as most of this morning. I'd love to discuss more about this if anyone has questions or I need called out for something👍 I won't say I have figured it all out, just giving my best lol.
The AT Proto app that I have been working on over the last ~12 days is nearing a first beta. Introducing @gifthood.community: A neighborly way to give and receive, freely, built on the AT Protocol. We will start in Portland neighborhoods soon. Let's find out if this concept works on the open web.
