Another arbiter progress report! An attempt at a goups standard for ATProto. This week we talked to @habitat.network and it got us thinking about how we could inter-op, even with other projects that can't use the arbiter. Now we've got a draft lexicon that I'm hoping can work for both of us.

Habitat's road to release: 05 adopting opensocial - building [at] habitat
This week, Habitat as a platform for organizational data is finally beginning to take shape. We've been working with other great atproto devs in the Communit…
Welcome to the new atproto.com - AT Protocol
We've updated just about everything about atproto.com to make it easier for developers to just build things.

I just finished a progress report / summary of the arbiter server that we've been working on at @roomy.space. The goal is to have an interoperable standard for group membership management on top of the ATProto permissioned space proposal. The last couple weeks were full of progress & discussion!

zicklag.leaflet.pubI've just finished the first, barely-working prototype of our new arbiter server! It's not ready for use just yet, but we're going to start experimenting with it in @roomy.space as a way to make every space a fully-fledged ATProto account that can be seamlessly managed by the Roomy space's admins.

zicklag.leaflet.pubAt @roomy.space we've been cooking up the design for the next, ATProto-native iteration of Roomy, and that includes private data on protocol! The first component that we're working on is a group membership service that we're calling the "arbiter". Here's full overview of the design so far!

zicklag.leaflet.pubooh nice my talk got posted! this is a 30 min whirlwind introduction to atproto through a technical lens, basically building up the stack from DIDs -> repos -> PDSes -> relays -> lexicons -> OAuth -> applications

Have you ever wondered how #ATProto actually works? This presentation by Daniel Holmgren from #FediForum should answer your questions in 30 minutes. spectra.video/w/mDnE8FbYh1PXiaCPxsniGQ /cc @dholms.at
#atproto is there anything we can do to solve the issues plaguing the lexicon specification right now I don't think it's good that the reference TS and Go SDK do not agree with each other on how lexicons should be interpreted

Hmm. That's generated with prototypey and goat lex lint didn't complain, but I'll look into it, thanks.
We had the very first research lexicons call today, to discuss interop & standards for research applications! 🎉 (think @standard.site but for science 🧪) With @mariaa.bsky.social @wesleyfinck.org @aaronstevenwhite.io @byarielm.fyi @ronentk.me Reach out if you want to be part of these discussions!
s there a newer version of this list of "atproto ideas up for grabs" ? trying to brainstorm for the @atproto.nyc hackathon but i know a lot of people have been hacking on things since december :) (cc @erlend.sh @tynanpurdy.com) discourse.atmosphere.community/t/project-ideas-up-for-grabs/…
