Not only does @samaaron.bsky.social do great educational work getting kids interested in programming by live-coding music – he also does deep engineering work on the underlying audio synth engine, which now runs in web browsers!

I've made dramatic progress on Sonic Tau over the past couple of weeks. I've already managed to leap ahead of Sonic Pi in a number of areas. All the many years of deep thinking and design is really paying off. Read more in my latest Patreon post. patreon.com/posts/re-re-rerezzed-15598685…

The New York Times is now blocking The Wayback Machine from accessing its articles. That means you'll no longer be able to view archived versions of NYT stories published in 2026 and beyond on archive.org. (All those posts you see tracking changes to NYT headlines and ledes? They relied on WBM).

eurosky.leaflet.pubEven pre-Elon, Twitter never drove all that much traffic to @techdirt.com, even if it was *my* preferred social media site. Nowadays Bluesky drives a ton of traffic to Techdirt, way more than even old Twitter did (X sends nothing). Only site that currently sends more than bsky is reddit.
