Bluesky picking up bots and spam accounts before I can even get into the app to check the notification, while probably over half our followers on X are fake, still. I just wish this app had the equivalent of Spaces cos I'd definitely move.

what's good in the space of "getting notifications for all my atproto accounts in one place" i've been making per-project accounts and it's a bit of a chore to check them all

for android users curious about a universal notification app with standard site subscription alerts I've got Courier up in the Google play store in an early-alpga state. a lot of work to be done on it but there's some functionality working well. my Germ DMs are open. just need email to add you

Fuck, I should probably add an announcement soon to askeverything.app that it is going to move to ATProto, huh? Gotta warn people that to stay on board the ship, they can't have private profiles anymore...

For our first launch of the year, we're kicking off with more blocking features! Rolling out today: ATProto across Bluesky, Blacksky, and any other PDS can apply domain blocklists to Bridgy Fed. Blocks come with if you Bounce, and we even added a handy list of reputable blocklists to choose from.

if you have a lot of bsky notifs across many bsky accts and want to try a notification manager i've been hacking on, pls dm/reply

I wonder if there could be a way to subscribe to notifications on someone else's post. Like, if someone asks a great question and you wanna read the answers, but no one has replied yet, you could say "Get reply notifications" (Slack has that option).

I think notifications in general are an underappreciated element of social media design. Would love to see the atmosphere create new things here!
