Overview: Bluesky and the ATmosphere | Mathew Lowry's Hub | MyHub.AI
The ATmosphere is the information ecosystem based on ATproto, the protocol developed by and for Bluesky. More interconnected apps are emerging. The potential for better online conversations is profound... if adequate revenue streams can be confirmed.

Oooh. Just discovered the @atstore.fyi - a directory for all the apps of the Atmosphere. Wow! With user ratings and comments, etc. Note that if you are reading this on Bluesky, you *have* an Atmosphere acct already so can use these apps. atstore.fyi

github.comThis feed has a new home on @atmosphereconf.org! bsky.app/profile/atmosphereconf.org/fe…
AtmosphereConf
Feed by @atmosphereconf.orgAs @ricardo.bsky.social might put it, the infrastructure behind the Bluesky app is becoming more like a product (as opposed to a project). A natural evolution would be to charge Atmosphere app developers who piggyback on it and would like to have standard commercial SLAs and technical support.
AT Protocol Developers
Today we’re launching Bluesky Protocol Services, a new brand and website for the infrastructure Bluesky operates. And Jetstream v2, the best way for developers to use atproto at scale, now with network replay. atproto.com/blog/introducing-bluesky-prot…
Hello! I've been at Bluesky for a bit over a month now and have a lot of thoughts, which are now going to be tucked away in this cute lil blog on @pckt.blog First up: Atmospheric Groups, an effort that we are working on in the Atmosphere community that I'm very excited about 👀👀
On Atproto and Atmospheric Groups
tropopause.pckt.blogReaders, writers, publishers of the Atmosphere, exciting news: Bluesky shipped @standard.site integration! Posts and publications from Leaflet now render on the timeline with some *special sauce* — see it in this very post :) More in Lab Notes…including a new standard.site post block in Leaflet!
The Standardverse expands skyward!
lab.leaflet.pubThis is what “everything ecosystem” means. Bluesky isn’t going to build a longform blogging service. What they can do with longform (and many other atproto apps) is use the shared formats of the atmosphere to enhance the experience and interaction with your content, wherever you like to post.
Bluesky
v1.122 is rolling out today, featuring a better way to discover and share articles, blog posts and newsletters across the Atmosphere via new, dynamic Standard.site link cards. 🧵
