I used Open Source Apps for 90 days. Here are my favorites
The most annoying part of using these apps for professional conferences is signing up, linking with people, and losing those connections b/c you never use the app again. This seems like something AT protocol was made for. Anyone at @sifa.id or @semble.so interested in putting this together? 👀

Is there already a conference app on AT proto?
Didn't get to ask my question, so here they are @anna.wsocial.eu (I'm in the room :)) But firstly, welcome to the Atmosphere! It's always great to see another app join the OSW (open social web).

Going to the W Social launch this afternoon at the Brussels Press Club. Should be interesting! Anyone I know joining me?
Imagine all the times you’ve downloaded a one-off app for a conference where you made all valuable connections with colleagues only to never use the app again. We could integrate the conference experience into your professional networks on the Atmosphere. ATproto can make networking so much better.

Hey on this note we’ve (@mysilio.com) been thinking about this stuff since 2019 now and have been a coop since 2020 and are suckers for a good cause, if anyone out there ever wants to chat open social and coops hmu.

the Atmosphere needs a LOT of care to be a functioning space for us all to have nice things. there are many people here with experience in tradbiz, both sides of grant and philanthropic funding there was even an expert in co-op structures at #atmosphereconf! ask for help! offer to help! dms open!
Why I created @skysquare.app—and why I believe the web needs it. "Decentralized protocols represent more than a technical innovation. They offer the possibility that public conversation might once again become part of the commons rather than the exclusive property of any single platform."
Why Skysquare Exists
skysquare.appAt @cascadiajs.com this year I gave a talk about #atproto and the Atmosphere: the open social ecosystem Bluesky and many other apps are built on, and what it means to actually own your data. I made a bunch of silly drawings for it, and I'm sharing them in this 🧵!
