My thoughts on how Ghost might join Fediverse
The folks who make Ghost, the wonderful software that runs this site, and my comic site incredibledoom.com recently put up a poll asking how folks would like them to implement one of their most requested features: ActivityPub support. Here's what I told them.

Yep. I saved hundreds or even thousands of dollars a month just from switching from Substack to self-hosted Ghost. I pay a roughly flat $85/month now (~$75 for mailsending, $10 for hosting), vs. 10% of all my subscription income. Here’s some napkin math for how expensive Substack is compared to its competitors:

The Github Tax (I can't believe they actually did this...)

Ghost is lightweight headless server that enables Ghost self hosters to bridge to standard.site with ease..
So I stopped using Ghostty...

A Game Pass for indie games: meet Indie Pass, a $6.99-a-month subscription launching with 70 titles
Indie.io's Jess Mitchell says the platform will help smaller creators with discoverability in an ever-busier games landscape

Summer of Standard.site - Bluesky
bsky.socialHi folks, we've received feedback about the pricing for our docs.coop hosting. We've decided to drop the price to £30/mo for a small Docs instance. This comes with an SSO provider (such as Keycloak or Authentik). Hit us up at boop@autonomic.zone if need help deGoogling your office suite!
Autonomic Co-op
We're thrilled to announce our new project: docs.coop! Building on the great work of Suite Numerique (docs.numerique.gouv.fr), we're offering an opportunity to be part of a new collaborative Docs platform as a service, that provides an ethical alternative to Google Docs, Office 365, Notion etc.
This is a very straight forward atproto-business play btw 1. bring (the feature-complete) UnInbox into the atmosphere: put a PDS on it & accept open-social login 2. promptly charge indie teams like mine flat rates (no seats) of $100/yr and up for managed service. Outcompete missiveapp.com/pricing

Note to @mk.gg and @cloudflare-dev.bsky.social DevRel folks: There’s a feature-complete team-mail client called UnInbox that’s no longer in business, but the dev is trying to bring the (self-)hosting costs close to zero, which is the sort of thing Cloudflare excels at 👀 github.com/un/inbox
Sure seems like there’s nothing stopping @ghost.org from hopping on board the AT train now at very low dev cost. Would love for our existing Ghost blog to magically turn @standard.site compatible overnight.

My first Leaflet!! You can now publish TO @standard.site lexicons from @astro.build sites using my new plugin! As sites like @pckt.blog and @leaflet.pub and @offprint.app add support for the site.standard lexicon, this plugin will let you publish to and pull from those other sites! #atproto #atdev
