Sad to announce that after much reflection, I'm stepping back from Lanyards development. My limited engineering skills meant I couldn't deliver what I wanted. It's been *really* fun to explore the @atproto.science space, and I'm thankful for the great support so far.

Bend2's Pitch Deck!I'm so happy about this direction. After years of deep fried research, I feel like we finally built a well-rounded product that ppl will use to solve real world problems - and it connects so nicely to the stuff we'll build later onPublic slides ↓— Taelin (@VictorTaelin) June 26, 2025
The ATProto community built a ton of great features and products over the past year. For our next trick, let's mature them into products and businesses.

(2/n) A feature solves one problem well — even delightfully well. But features get copied easily or absorbed into larger products. They have no distribution or adoption model. If your whole thing can become a pane in someone else's app, it's a feature.
Drafting a pitch deck for Lanyards. It just hit me that #ATscience 🧪 in the #ATmosphere 🌀 is very real now. @atproto.science → @curvenote.com @chive.pub @lanyards.app @hypgen.bsky.social @layers.pub @margin.at @andreasthinks.me @sealight.xyz @semble.so @standard.site @viewsift.com 😻 #ATproto 🪿
Compiled a @semble.so collection of Scholarly APIs that I've been assessing for @lanyards.app . Making them available to all #ATscience 🧪 #ATmosphere 🌀 #ATproto 🪿 builders. semble.so/profile/renderg.host/collecti… Based on researchguides.smu.edu.sg/api-list by SMU Librarian @bellaratmelia.bsky.social ✨
