Hey @tgoerke.bsky.social, today you said you wanted to try @obsidian.md and I mentioned that I've been considering moving away from it (despite having been a user for ~2 years now) I don't want to negatively bias you against it, but I thought it might be interesting to share my reasoning publicly

btw, these new domain endings should be of much greater interest to the @bsky.app (atproto) community than your average internet jane/joe because of the incoming flood of expressive @handle.tld options

ICANN's gTLD application window closed last night and bigger-than-2012 (last round) stuff is already happening lfg.link applied for 316, more than anyone in 2012 (it'll cost $71 million in application fees alone!) some interesting strings in there...going to thread until I run out of steam
Move over @mu.social I'm bringing the future of social media. Slowly getting to the point where I'd welcome testers. I've spent the bulk of the time on themeing and my page, powered by @robin.berjon.com DASL tiles, so everything else will need some tlc

Is the atmosphere ready for this level of discourse
@henryyuen.bsky.social I have heard you commented on the recent announcement by OpenAI on X, about one of the 10 problems very, very close to your own research. Would you be OK discussing it here as well?

Intrigued by @semble.so as a potential research tool for creatives as well as encouraging deeper thinking, making connections between ideas. For me, I can see using it alongside @obsidian.md (which I use similarly, but for my private use). Also love how responsive the developers are to questions.
@mosheweitzman.com you went! Awesome! BTW @mackaffinity.bsky.social built a Drupal module that exposes posts as @standard.site - content on Drupal but indexed in atproto github.com/affinitybridge/drupal-atmosph…

v1.119 is live! Bot labels are here. If you run an automated account, you can now mark it as such in your account settings. The label will show up on your profile and posts so people know what's a bot and what's not.
@bnewbold.net @graham.systems @tynanpurdy.com ? Can't remember all the humans… blog post I mentioned RE moderation: nichoth.com/projects/dev-diary-bluesky/

nichoth.comI’m happy with how respawn.social is coming along, but with @cartridge.dev, @postgame.at, and now @giantbomb.com I wonder if it’s worth having yet another attempt at “Letterboxd for games” out there…
Respawn
respawn.social@photosky.at will be moving to a new domain and identity in a few days. No changes to the existing users - all your posts, likes, comments, collections, will remain accessible on the new website. if you have shared links to photosky on any other websites, those links will redirect automatically.
I did it. I finally migrated to @eurosky.social. Thanks to @support.wsocial.eu for fixing a bug that prevented me from. Big thanks to @liabelle.me and @caesar.dev for staying in touch with me at any time! My reason for the migration from @wsocial.eu to @eurosky.social:
