Graze Social and the IETF - Nick's Blog
Graze Social sponsored my first in-person IETF meeting in Montreal last November. This post is about what it was like to be there and why standards participation matters for small companies.

SCOOP: #WSocial is doctoring metrics on its homepage, inflating the number of comments on posts by prominent people on its network. I suppose a more accurate tagline for them should be "Trust your feed?" My article about it: "W Social, Fictional Metrics and the Beauty of Open Data" 🔗 : https://blog.elenarossini.com/w-social-fictional-metrics-and-the-beauty-of-open-data/ #blog #BigTech #EUBigTech #TEP #TrustedEuropeanPlatforms #TrustYourFeed
@attie.ai is interesting in many ways. With that said, use @graze.social if you actually want to manage a feed.
Better, Together
graze.leaflet.pubGod I know people find this site slightly annoying or whatever but this is the pinnacle of social media to me. This whole feed is running on someone's CPU serving thousands of users in a decentralised manner. Absolutely lovely. Thank you space cowboy

The For You feed is going to be down while I'm upgrading the CPU from AMD 7900 (12 core) to AMD 9950X3D (16 core). This should increase how many users it can serve by ~50%-100%. If all goes well it should be back up in an hour or two.
I'm excited to announce another guest post on the atproto.com blog! This time, we're featuring @spacecowboy17.bsky.social, the maintainer of the popular For You Feed (bsky.app/profile/spacecowboy17.bsky.so…)! atproto.com/blog/serving-the-for-you-feed
