"Bluesky elder" The term is used only in two ways: -as an insult -as a joke It came from someone using it back in the day as if some sort of benefits and privilege should come from seniority and time spent on the site. It was, and still is, properly mocked. A meme I made about it from way back:

Goomba fallacy
Named after a fictional species (Goomba) from Nintendo's Mario franchise. The term references an Internet meme depicting the fallacy using Goombas posted to Twitter by @supersylvie_ on January 29, 2024.[1]
"bluesky elder" is a meme from when some of the oldheads who signed up for bluesky in like january saw the influx of new users and tried to make a power play for manners and rules and what you can and can't do. Bee was in this and she called herself a "bluesky elder" which everyone promptly laughed
sweetbee tried to attack and dethrone drill, got bigmad when this didn't work (this is the origin of the phrase "bluesky elders"), left for nostr (twitter with even more crypto, jack's there since we were mean to him) and tried to create a sex worker exodus, quietly returned when that failed too
