Atmosphere 101: Do I need to make an account? - pckt - notes ๐
Many of us are accustomed to creating new accounts for every new platform we encounter. On pckt.blog, the experience is different. You may already have an exist...

๐ฃ I've started working on an Atmosphere alternative to Facebook Pages, targeted at local, non tech savvy communities. It's called @gravita.social - the force that unites us.
Gravita โ Give your community a home on the open web
gravita.socialmisc #atdev thought to consider later but we need more tools on both user & viewer side to improve social media experience for people who have audiences of different highly varied demographics... you can't really have an everyTHING account if it isn't smooth and frictionless to have everyONE there
In the *last day*, a bunch of apps in the Atmosphere are starting to adopt this proposal! Thanks to everyone who has helped out ๐๐ป - @mu.social โ - @semble.so โ - @aturi.to โ - @leaflet.pub โ - @frontpage.fyi โ - @bsky.app โ - @pckt.blog โ (just reached out)

Trying to get all of the social-apps using the community proposal adding <meta> tags to the AT URIs they reference. github.com/bluesky-social/social-app/pulโฆ

Realizing (duh) that I should have logged into @standard-reader.app via my Bluesky account. I kept wondering why I appeared as "debbieohi.selfhosted.social" instead; turns out I accidentally created an extra account. ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ I confess I kept assuming "Atmosphere" was some other kind of platform! cont'd
account.info ๐
account.info โ AT Protocol profile lookup
account.infoin a community like ours, i think itโs tacky to say โstop using [Atmosphere app] and use [other Atmosphere app] insteadโ when i released @aturi.to i didnโt tell people to stop using @pds.ls or @atproto.at with @anisota.net, you wonโt find me saying โditch bluesky, mu, blacksky, etcโ
someone from @bsky.app should join the the pckt.cafe pds for the laughs pckt-cafe.wisp.place/pds.pckt.cafe
