I was asked to install a mobile app to get access to the itinerary of a trip to Disneyland I'm taking with the kids. Fuck that noise: couldn't it have just been a Web page? An hour of reverse-engineering later, it is, and it's superior in virtually every way to the "app" that it replaces.

@schlage.town @aka.dad @brookie.blog ( @standard.site ) I'm looking at building a "very" long form publishing app - ebook / digital comics I'd love to use standard.site lexicons but I'm having a hard time getting it to super cleanly fit. Wondering if there's a good forum to work through issues.
This is partly why I think atproto needs a more convincing vision about being a post-app protocol. A future where atproto is a bunch of apps and each app governs their own lexicon diminishes a lot of its potential in the long-term.

yeah i think i might actually, theres a very interesting story here that the main thing that matters is a focal point around which consensus over a lexicon can get formed
