Solving the 1+N Query Problem
Finite-Choice Logic Programming | Proceedings of the ACM on Programming Languages
Logic programming, as exemplified by datalog, defines the meaning of a program as its unique smallest model: the deductive closure of its inference rules. However, many problems call for an enumeration of models that vary along some set of choices while ...

All elementary functions from a single operator
A single two-input gate suffices for all of Boolean logic in digital hardware. No comparable primitive has been known for continuous mathematics: computing elementary functions such as sin\sin, cos\cos, \sqrt{\phantom{x}}, and log\log has always required multiple distinct operations. Here we show that a single binary operator,
Using Enums to Represent State | corrode Rust Consulting
Many Rust beginners with a background in systems programming tend to use bool (or even u8 – an 8-bit unsigned integer type) to represent “state”. For example, how about a bool to indicate whether a user is active or not? struct User { // ... …

ignore the code: Toggles Considered Harmful
I just read this post from Marcin Wichary's Unsung, where he points out a peculiar macOS dialog box that shows boolean toggles in four different shades of grey:
Kysely
Kysely is the most powerful type-safe SQL query builder for TypeScript. Get unparalleled autocompletion and compile-time type safety for complex queries, joins, and subqueries. Used in production by Deno, Maersk, and Cal.com. Modern TypeScript, zero runtime overhead.

Datalog
Datalog is a declarative logic programming language. While it is syntactically a subset of Prolog, Datalog generally uses a bottom-up rather than top-down evaluation model. This difference yields significantly different behavior and properties from Prolog. It is often used as a query language for deductive databases. Datalog has been applied to problems in data integration, networking, program analysis, and more.
