Making a Ghost Blog a Valid standard.site Publication
This blog federates over ActivityPub through Ghost so Mastodon users can follow @index@subaud.io. standard.site is the counterpart for the AT Protocol side: a set of lexicons that describe a blog as records in an atproto repo, the same identity and data layer behind a Bluesky account. Anything

My thoughts on how Ghost might join Fediverse
The folks who make Ghost, the wonderful software that runs this site, and my comic site incredibledoom.com recently put up a poll asking how folks would like them to implement one of their most requested features: ActivityPub support. Here's what I told them.

The thing that I find missing from most new blogging software, which includes even not-so-new ones like Ghost, is decent Archives navigation. I want to see per-year, per-month, per-tag, per-category nav. I came up in Wordpress and it is the only thing WP still does better than everyone by default.

My first Leaflet!! You can now publish TO @standard.site lexicons from @astro.build sites using my new plugin! As sites like @pckt.blog and @leaflet.pub and @offprint.app add support for the site.standard lexicon, this plugin will let you publish to and pull from those other sites! #atproto #atdev
