A big part of Github's stickiness is the social proof + resume of your activity history. Is there an easy omni-identity that combines your GitHub, Gitlab, @tangled.org, and @radicle.dev activity into a single view? Might lower the risk of starting new repos on emerging platforms.
okay, i think it's ready. Introducing jasper.croft.click, a tool to import Instagram photos to @grain.social! I will add video suppot when possible. Do bear in mind that it is very new, so i don't know if it's 100% functional, but #BuildInPublic, i guess? Please do feel free to report bugs or contribute.

bulk uploads so i can backfill my old insta content wen (i know there are programmatic ways to do this and just deal with rate limits, but surprised tool offerings for this don’t exist — tho i guess maybe they do but bsky only/specific rn) #atprotoidea
weirdly ATProto also bridges mobile OS wars so well you wanna make the next Instagram in Swift on iOS and have it be insanely beautifully built by iOS experts à la Flighty? Ok, do it. Since the data is owned by the user, Android devs can build an incredible Android experience off the same data.
