[Proposal] WG for Games
TLDR: I’m proposing a working group to take ownership of the work I and others have been doing to support games on atproto. There have been lots of efforts to support games on atproto already. @rpg.actor is building an ecosystem where data can be shared across games @byjp.me created a mod for Slay the Spire II that puts your runs on protocol @orta.io added Atmospheric login to @puzzmo.com games and stores some data on protocol @lemmaeof.gay is building rhythm game score tracking on Tsuganite ...

the critical thing that got me on board with atproto is relays incrementalize sync of the entire dataset, which eliminates polling when crawling the old web is currently being crushed under crawler load and I don't think it's going away, so I think atproto is the only way to save the open web
Do you need to run a PDS, PLC, Jetstream or TAP for development and testing of your #ATprotocol app? A couple of us needed it for independent projects and we try to DRY so first pass is at github.com/OpenMeet-Team/atproto-devnet How are you managing that stack for your project?

github.comOkay, so...we're experimenting with setting up our ATproto integration with WP-Wireservice! Special thanks to @tylerjfisher.com for the awesome plugin and resources. We'll keep you posted on how it goes. 👀
There aren’t any models like this right now built into the protocol. There are a couple of proofs of concept. @brittanyellich.com has some code for communities - thread in ATProto touchers discord.com/channels/1097580399187738645/… Brittany will have better links.
