didplc.directory | DID:PLC Read Replica
A DID:PLC read replica for the AT Protocol. Resolve DID documents without hitting the main plc.directory server.

did:dns Method Specification
Many early DID methods were based on distributed ledgers or other decentralized infrastructure, and some of those still remain popular. However, the DID community has also seen a lot of innovation and has come up with new types of DID methods. One of them is did:web, which is based on traditional DNS and web server infrastructure. The DID method presented here is did:dns, which follows a similar idea but offers several improvements over did:web.

DIDComm
DIDComm lets people and software use DIDs to communicate securely and privately over many channels: the web, email, mobile push notifications, QR codes, Bluetooth, message queues, sneakernet, and more.
did:plc Directory
PLC is a persistent global identifier system, which allows accounts to retain relationships while changing names or migrating between service providers. It makes use of cryptography and gives individuals (or organizations) direct control and ownership over their identitifier, but does not make use of any blockchain or cryptocurrency technology, and is inexpensive enough to provide as a no-cost service.
created a plc backed by sqlite instead of postgres if anyone is interested tangled.org/chadtmiller.com/plc-sqlite i have a setup for an appview in railway where i create an ephemeral environment per pr against a long running pds and plc with some test accounts for dev.
hello! yeah! quite a lot of PLC progress (and some left to go). (warning: long thread) 1. there is an official reference read-replica implementation: github.com/did-method-plc/go-didplc/tree… the official read-replica is better than the Allegedly reference-server-wrapper that i made, in two important ways:

hello, has there been progress on this since the writeup? thank you for your work, i'm not grasping the full extent of it but i'm really interested in decentralization of the atmosphere
