Lab Streaming Layer (LSL) for synchronized streaming of multi-modal, time-series data over a network - neurodevs/node-lsl
DANDI
DANDI: Distributed Archives for Neurophysiology Data Integration The DANDI platform is supported by the BRAIN Initiative for publishing, sharing, and processing neurophysiology data. The archive accepts cellular neurophysiology data including electrophysiology, optophysiology, and behavioral time-series, and images from immunostaining experiments. The platform is now available for data upload and distribution. The storage of data in the archive is also supported by the Amazon Opendata program. The data in the archive can be browsed using the Data Portal. For detailed instructions on how to interact (view, upload, download, process) with DANDI click here.

🚀🚀🚀 Excited to share that our Brain&AI team is releasing NeuralSet! 🚀🚀🚀 A fast, simple, and scalable package for Neuro-AI: 📦 `pip install neuralset` 💻 Code: https://lnkd.in/eamwxBUY 📄 Paper: https://lnkd.in/epbreyDy As a PhD student working extensively with neuro recordings and AI models, I find this library to be a game-changer. This has been the common backbone for the past several years of our projects (TribeV2, DynaDiff, Brain2Qwerty & more!). This library turns raw neuro-recordings into AI-ready tensors. It enables: - Event-driven processing with typed, validated DataFrames. - Multimodal extractors for fMRI, EEG, MEG, EMG, and iEEG + text, image, audio, and video. - Torch-native segmentation for efficient batching. - Caching and remote compute through exca. Huge thanks to everyone on the team who made this release possible. If you're working on brain decoding, encoding models, or foundation models for neuroscience, don’t miss this! 🧠 Jean-Rémi King Hubert Banville Katie Begany Corentin Bel Yohann Benchetrit Teon Brooks Marlène Careil Simon Dahan Stéphane d'Ascoli Alexandre Défossez Linnea Evanson, PhD Pablo J. D2TS enables really powerful streaming joins, aggregations, etc. and will be powering a lot of Electric features in the future! This is an early preview but very cool tech. First Typescript implementation of Differential Dataflow afaik. https://t.co/i4qSJnVZWV— Kyle Mathews (@kylemathews) February 28, 2025

I find the idea of using CBOR as an alternative serialization for Activity Streams to be... interesting. w3c.github.io/cbor-ld/

w3c.github.ioJust wrapped up the ActivityPub, AT Protocol and more stream, the recording is up on twitch at the moment, and will be on youtube soon, and maybe spectra.video soon. Thanks everyone who joined live! Was a almost 5 hour long stream. twitch.tv/videos/2801433122
