In Berlin wird Krieg geplant, organisiert und in den öffentlichen Diskurs gebracht. Die Recherche "Machtzentrum Berlin-Mitte" dokumentiert Standorte der Rüstungsindustrie, Lobbygruppen, Think Tanks und Behörden in Berlin. Zwar konzentriert sich die Rüstungsproduktion in Deutschland vor allem in Süd- und Westdeutschland, doch hat Berlin als Hauptstadt der Bundesrepublik eine Schlüsselrolle in der Frage von Krieg und Frieden. Seit 1990 ist Berlin offiziell wieder Bundeshauptstadt; zur Jahrtausendwende wurde auch der Regierungssitz hierher verlegt. Seither etablierte sich Berlin-Mitte abermals als zentraler Schauplatz imperialistischer Machtpolitik in Deutschland und Europa. Diesem Machtzentrum widmet sich die vorliegende Recherche.
