ThreadSky - Unroll Bluesky Threads

Atreeshake · eriskii.net
A Bluesky thread treeshaker — paste any post URL and get the whole thread as a force-directed graph you can scroll through as a single linear read.

Unthread
A small utility for Bluesky posts that don't fit. The full text gets its own link, and a regular Bluesky post points to it.

ATProto explainer thread from a non-Bluesky app/service’s perspective
rpg.actor
Very glad you asked! Bluesky runs on tech called AT Protocol, which lets you use that same account on sites like rpg.actor via process called OAuth which keeps your password away from our server. Login actually takes you to a bsky.social page that lists what read / write our site wants in to use:
Yeah it was pretty easy threadviewer.app/warg But be careful! Creating lists in bulk creates too many actions and can lead to rate limits on your account.
Bluesky’s statement deriding Threads users as “guinea pigs” is not representative of Blacksky Algorithms, the atproto ecosystem or the open social web more broadly. Communities form around communication networks. And communities should never be trolled for whatever tool helps them find each other.
the reason Threads is showing growth is that it is tied into other things that are not microblogging and to the extent Bluesky grows from here it is likely that atproto will need the same path

the thing about bluesky is dying discourse is that I can't really do anything about it I mean yeah this place is mostly the same people talking to each other, that's true, it's still fun if it shuts down at some point that sucks, I hope it doesn't, that's all I got
