Self-Hosting Guide to Alternatives: Notion
Self-hosted alternatives for the popular collaboration platform

I think the #Ghost and #Wordpress federations pose interesting questions about what #fediverse platforms can and should be. Do we actually want blogs and feeds of blogs folded into a mastodon/microblog social feed? Do we want to read and comment on blogs on mastodon? Do we want all the diversity of the fediverse fed into a single platform's UI and hope that it works well? Are we worried that some choices by our platform or instance admin might hinder this process? I'm rather skeptical. 1/

Manton Reece - Introducing the Micro.blog PDS
I’ve started rolling out an AT Protocol PDS — personal data server — for new Micro.blog users. In the Bluesky world, a PDS is what stores your posts, follows, photos, and other data from apps. Make Your Own Thing - AT Protocol
atproto.comOne thing I look for in a blogging platform (whether atproto or otherwise): a way of backing up/exporting my content. This is more important to me than being able to tweak design/fonts etc. Have learned this from hard experience; I've used manymany blogging platforms over the decades.
