I spent all of Christmas reverse engineering Claude Chrome so it would work with remote browsers. Here's how Anthropic taught Claude how to browse the web (1/7) pic.twitter.com/kBJA1DUWxA— Paul Klein IV (@pk_iv) December 29, 2025
Stop Ignoring the Browser: The Biggest Frontend Shift in a Decade
Native browser APIs now provide powerful alternatives for routing, state management, and components. Never mind the frameworks, use the browser.

Introducing the new dev-browser cli. The fastest way for an agent to use a browser is to let it write code. Just `npm i -g dev-browser` and tell your agent to "use dev-browser" pic.twitter.com/U8VmsT5XVc— Sawyer Hood (@sawyerhood) March 25, 2026
Webtop 4.0: Wayland is here, engage the reality engine | LinuxServer.io
Let me just start with the TLDR as I have a tendency to write too much, all of our Selkies based images can now be launched into a Wayland mode using the env var -e PIXELFLUX_WAYLAND=true or checking a box in Sealskin. This Wayland mode is an entire ground up stack leveraging a virtual framebuffer in userspace that can live on a GPU or CPU. The net result on any hardware with a GPU is a remote monitor in your web browser. I am not talking about a compromise or half baked "this is kinda cool cause it is in my web browser and it can run in Docker" I am talking about turning your web browser into a true virtual display for the remote session. There are two major wins out of this mode:
Session live view - Browserbase Documentation
An interactive window to display or control a browser session.
Launch HN: Browser Use (YC W25) – open-source web agents | Hacker News
Check out this video to see it in action: https://preview.screen.studio/share/r1h4DuAk. There are lots more demos at https://github.com/browser-use/browser-use on how we control the web with prompts.
Hyper-Frame - an iframe that can frame any website
Try the live console. Embed, navigate, automate, and capture pages through a remote browser-backed iframe.
wterm | Terminal Emulator for the Web
A terminal emulator for the web. Renders to the DOM, powered by Zig/WASM.

apexskier/DefaultBrowser
A macOS menu bar app to intelligently control your default web browser.
Introducing Glide, an extensible, keyboard-focused web browser
A Firefox fork with a TypeScript config that lets you build anything.

BrowserEngineKit | Apple Developer Documentation
Create a browser that renders content using an alternative browser engine.

Introducing Manus Browser Operator
One extension that turns any browser into an AI browser. Automate tasks in premium platforms, CRM systems, and authenticated services using your trusted local sessions. Full transparency and control.
