The Four Factors for Organizations - Future Mending Radio
When I pick an organization for the podcast or the map at Futuremending.com, I’m not just picking businesses out of a hat – I have a system for evaluating orgs which I call the Four Factors for Organizations. The Four Factors are Multi-solving, Sharing, Sufficiency and Transparency. This episode is in two parts. The opening minutes are a bit of an emotional check-in to see how people are processing the unprecedented political turmoil in the United States. The second part of the podcast discusses the Four Factors for Organizations and why seeking out certain vectors of change makes more sense than trying to lay out a detailed plan for a better future. as someone who has spent a lot of time around insufferable tech bros, the #ATmosphere conference was the least tech-bro infested tech conference I think I’ve ever been to (not counting RightsCon). it was a really friendly, welcoming, and *very* diverse crowd. i was impressed.
Is everyone at @atmosphereconf.org already familiar with the Pac-Man Rule for Conferences? 😅 ericholscher.com/blog/2017/aug/2/pacman-rule-c…
The Pac-Man Rule at Conferences
www.ericholscher.comThe most annoying part of using these apps for professional conferences is signing up, linking with people, and losing those connections b/c you never use the app again. This seems like something AT protocol was made for. Anyone at @sifa.id or @semble.so interested in putting this together? 👀

Is there already a conference app on AT proto?
What may be the most heartening part of #AtmosphereConf, besides the community, is that it's a *technical* conference at which people present on politics, authoritarianism, epistemic challenges (in the opening keynote!). Because, for technologists, *that's* the job.

Conference Takeaways
toni.orgImagine all the times you’ve downloaded a one-off app for a conference where you made all valuable connections with colleagues only to never use the app again. We could integrate the conference experience into your professional networks on the Atmosphere. ATproto can make networking so much better.
