The usual advice didn’t help my sleep problems, but then I tried an exercise that kickstarts the sleep-onset control system

Open Source Gave Me Everything Until I Had Nothing Left to Give

I’m an AI researcher turned brain tumor patient, and recently I used the models to crack my mystery fatigue faster than my PCP could. I believe everyone can do the same with their own symptoms. Here’s how: pic.twitter.com/0jhbPvEi7V— Amy Deng (@amydeng_) June 16, 2026

what angel wakes me
welcome to my website! 🎀 i know very little about coding and mostly do everything from scratch. i keep things very simple because i like the straightforwardness of old websites, and care more about contents than detail. i am also not a very organised person and i imagine my mind often like plunging my hand into mud and swirling it around and when i occasionally succeed at pulling something out i like to share it (put it on the internet). i also struggle to find anything that isn't a subject on a pink background superfluous, which really makes it hard for me to envision things like a website layout...... this site is best viewed on a computer. there are no sudden sounds or flashing images on this site. sometimes there are bright colours. i am also an adult and talk about my adult life a lot. anything nsfw or heavy i will do my best to indicate beforehand. thank you for visiting! >_< <3
Beyond APIs: Collecting Web Data for Research using the National Internet Observatory
Widespread Internet use offers unprecedented opportunities to study human behavior at scale, yet researchers face significant ethical and technical barriers when attempting to collect data for academic studies.
Four Months Later, My Head Is Quiet - Ewan’s Blog
I didn’t realise how much of my baseline was illness until parts of it disappeared.
The Mythical Agent-Month – Wes McKinney
Like a lot of people, I’ve found that AI is terrible for my sleep schedule. In the past I’d wake up briefly at 4 or 4:30 in the morning to have a sip of water or use the bathroom; now I have trouble going back to sleep. I could be doing things. Before I would get a solid 7-8 hours a night; now I’m lucky when I get 6. I’ve largely stopped fighting it: now when I’m rolling around restlessly in bed at 5:07am with ideas to feed my AI coding agents, I just get up and start my day.

@bmj.com Please look at PubPeer comments on an article you published last week. pubpeer.com/publications/C08779C45DB6E407… I think your research integrity dept shld act swiftly on this one, given clinical significance. I'm aware of even more evidence of problems so let me know if this is not sufficient.
