Oh haha well basically, I lost everything when I deleted Twitter, because after downloading my archive, which I didn't open until much later (after the account was gone), I realized I had nothing. This was upsetting, and I decided that I want everything I post to be archived to my site, by default

Ever wanted a blog post you wrote straight to your editor? I've got importing @standard.site posts (well, just @leaflet.pub) into Writer. I was too excited to finish blobs before recording this.

I've posted and deleted this here a few times now. I guess (ironically, given the content) I feel that my first real personal blog post to the public isn't good enough, or a bad take, when I've had really positive vibes on Bluesky - despite how the post may come across. But fuck it. I'll keep it up.

I was just thinking this as I was scrolling arXiv recently, how cool it would be to have those papers published as at://records and to be able to see all the links between them.

1/ I’ve spent years trying to solve a stupidly hard problem: How to organize the interesting links I find online. I’ll be scrolling Bluesky/Substack/news, see a great article or paper, save it somewhere, and then promptly lose it in my own system.

I was bored last night so I built a tool for searching @leaflet.pub articles: leaflet-search.catabush.com. Currently built on a cache of over 800 articles from active publications, and will be updating daily to bring in new articles (as soon as I finish that part).
