SE McCarty 594 Electric Guitar - Black Gold Burst
A McCarty 594 for the Working Musician The PRS SE McCarty 594 electric guitar marks the model’s debut within the SE series, bringing the tonal might and effortless playability of one of Paul’s most iconic models to the masses! Just like its Core line siblings, this 6-string boasts an elegant tonewood pairing of mahogany and maple — a time-tested combo that imparts both warmth and definition to your every note. Next, a pair of low-wind 58/15 LT “S” pickups take the old-school magic of ’50s-style humbuckers straight into the 21st century with an extra helping of clarity and articulation. Looking for a rock-solid gigging guitar? A PRS 2-piece bridge and PRS-designed tuners bookend the SE McCarty 594 with enhanced sustain and exceptional tuning stability. The rosewood-topped-mahogany neck rounds out this guitar’s feature set with a slightly chunky Pattern Vintage profile that’s sure to please thumb-over-neck players and fans of vintage-style neck carves. Time-tested tonewood combination From their one-of-a-kind Private Stock custom creations to their SE line, PRS is wholeheartedly dedicated to the idea that superior tonewoods result in superior tone. This SE McCarty 594 more than fulfills that philosophy with a tonewood combination that can trace its lineage all the way back to the early ’50s: maple-topped mahogany. The mahogany forms the core of this guitar’s body, adding heft and weight to your every note; in contrast, the maple top imparts an articulate edge that allows everything from single-note lines to roaring rhythm work to cut right through a band situation. It’s a formidable tonewood duo, and there’s a good reason why the vast majority of PRS guitars harness its sonic potential!Pattern Vintage profile neck for enhanced playability Some of the least visible but most powerful features of the SE McCarty 594 include a neck feel that maximizes your performance and comfort with an asymmetrical Pattern Vintage profile. Though much like their Pattern profile, PRS's Pattern Vintage carve is slightly thicker to fill your hand in just the right way. And the strings will always feel silky smooth when playing and bending due to the guitar's 24.594-inch signature McCarty scale length — the origin of the "594" in the model name. Vintage-voiced 58/15 S humbucking pickups PRS 58/15 LT “S” pickups balance vintage character with modern clarity to deliver the sweet — yet articulate — sound and rich harmonic overtones of vintage humbuckers. This is the warm and clear sonic elixir that propelled 58/15 pickups to the top of many guitarists' favorite PAF-style pickup lists. Featuring a low-wind bridge pickup and neck pickup with the perfect amount of brightness, the 58/15 LT "S" set packs a real sonic punch, from chimey cleans to full shred. Guitarists at Sweetwater love these pickups. You will, too. PRS SE McCarty 594 Electric Guitar Features: Time-tested tonewood combo of a mahogany body and flame maple veneer maple top deliver a classic tone, with plenty of warmth and definition Rigid mahogany multi-ply neck is highly is exceptionally stable Slightly chunky Pattern Vintage profile is sure to please fans of a substantial neck Rosewood fingerboard in a versatile 10-inch radius that’s ready to tackle all styles and techniques 24.594-inch scale length offers a slinkier feel that’s ideal for bend-heavy styles Rock-solid PRS 2-piece bridge increases sustain and resonance 58/15 LT “S” pickups with a slightly underwound design capture the magic of an old-school humbucker, with an added dose of note-to-note clarity Push-pull controls unlock single-coil split tones Iconic PRS Birds inlays

SE 277 Baritone Electric Guitar - Charcoal Burst
PRS Quality in a Baritone The Paul Reed Smith SE 277 Baritone is a powerful sonic tool for guitarists who love down-tuned riffing and for players who need a vast array of new low-end colors for recording and performing. The two SE 85/15 S humbucking pickups on the 277 Baritone can be split to offer you both humbucking and single-coil tones. And the birds in flight inlays, the flame maple top, and the identifiable body shape exude unmistakable PRS quality. This SE 277 Baritone is sure to add new low-strung colors to your playing. Freshly updated, the SE 277 Baritone now features PRS' sleek violin carved top for optimized comfort and an incredible look!27.7-inch-scale baritone Baritone electric guitars have been in use with popular music for decades. Both '60s surf rock sounds and spaghetti western soundtracks were full of these down-tuned instruments. Not only did they offer their own muscular twang, but baritones were often used underneath the bass part — known as tic-tac bass — for more definition. Today, the baritone tradition is going strong with the aggressive lows of heavy metal, the resurgence of classic country, and even indie bands looking to expand their sound. Extended-scale instruments like the SE 277 Baritone offer sonic adventurers a way to find new chord voicings. PRS-designed 85/15 S humbucking pickups The two humbucking pickups in this SE 277 Baritone are Paul Reed Smith-designed 85/15 S's. An update on PRS's original humbuckers, the 85/15 S is designed to sound terrific whether used in humbucking or single-coil mode. They offer you plenty of output for driving your amp hard, while sounding clear and detailed when you want. These SE humbuckers closely resemble the tones of the US-made versions found in the solidbody electric guitars crafted at PRS's Maryland factory. Unmistakable PRS appointments The SE 277 Baritone is loaded with appointments that immediately identify the guitar as a Paul Reed Smith. The violin-carved flame maple veneer top maintains a classy look with the shapely ergonomics of a much pricier instrument. A PRS-designed plate-style hardtail bridge delivers solid tuning stability in a low-profile design that feels comfortable to your picking hand. And the birds in flight fretboard inlay speaks volumes about the quality of craftsmanship and tone you can expect from this PRS. Guitarists at Sweetwater are definitely adding this baritone to their collections.
