Here's an early POC for a "personal website" run entirely on Sifa (and more atproto) data: sifa.id (just append /site to your own profile to see it in action) You can also self-host it: github.com.

I have seen a paper being published by the first author without any of the other authors being aware of it. 1st author made bogus Gmail addresses. Pretty wild 😱 I don't think asking for all of this contact info will help prevent a motivated fraudster though. Only annoying the rest of us 😮💨
Products like @margin.at and @semble.so have the potential to change scientific publishing as we know it today. These are early-stage products but they're clearly ahead of the curve when it comes to new ways to organize and share knowledge.
