Sorting data when you aren't the only source of data, don't know the full size and shape of data ahead of time, and can't control the order in which data is created presents a lot of challenges. This is what we came up with to tackle them. #atprotocol #atdev

Anyone know why Bluesky is so poorly integrated into @ifttt.bsky.social? A bookmark trigger seems pretty obvious. Something for @mu.social?
There’s some conversation in the Atmosphere right now about how we turn @atproto.com projects into sustainable businesses. One of the biggest opportunities is sitting right in front of us: give publishers back the audience development business they spent the last 20 years outsourcing to platforms.
There are two questions you need to answer when building something new: who is this for, and where is the money going to come from? Some longer thoughts on my exchange with @mosh.bsky.social about the ATproto ecosystem, and its needing a business focus. numergent.com/2026-08/Project-Product-Start…

blog.tyler.funwe're planning v2 of our standard.site integration in the bsky app the goal is to make the "subscribe" button work. when you tap "subscribe" on a link card, what should happen? e.g. - get notifications on bsky when new articles are published - see new articles in a feed or separate tab - more?
Kind of surprised no one has done a quotes thing on atproto. Like you post a quote you like from an author, someone, or yourself if you want. People can like it or comment. When you share it shows a nice little open graph image . Same with one for poems. I guess blog sites counts a bit for both.
ok im sick of waiting for apple to review the iOS app, so in the meantime if you like birds, see birds, and want to record your bird sightings then check out birds.place! it runs on free tier cloudflare and @microcosm.blue

I feel like I need to write a blog post gaming this out but adversarial space migration is a different beast than adversarial PDS migration, although it's definitely going to be drama.
Some more ideas about how I think to build an atproto app for artists from the needs I see in my community, and how I envision to grow this into a longer term project. I am curious about your feedback and who is interested to participate.
Artist app diary (2): how to stay sustainable with community building and financial funding
hilkeu.leaflet.pubBuilding @skysquare.app, I’ve thought a lot about what the future of the @atproto.com ecosystem might look like, and I’m increasingly excited by the possibilities. Skysquare is a useful demonstration of something that feels much bigger than the application itself—the portability of the ATProto post.
I wrote a short piece on the ATProto services that I am using and/or have inspired me to start hacking away at the protocol – come in and try to find something you like!
