Tim Berners-Lee's original vision for a "Web 3.0" - the idea was to have a standard for the web to expose data and definitions for data so sites could understand each other on a deeper level, avoiding proprietary APIs and walled gardens. Unfortunately clunky, only really ended up used in academic contexts.

ATProto combines a lot of previous ideas (Solid Project's decentralized identity & data, semantic web's ontologies, & fediverse's federation) into one working whole. This lets you own your data and identities and use them across apps that can all talk to and understand each other through introspection.

Resonite is a social VR platform - VRChat, but where you can pull up an editor and visual programming tool anywhere from inside the game and completely live introspect and runtime modify anything around you in real-time (avatars, users, tools, worlds, even the editor itself because the editor is also an object in the editable scene). This is immediately synced to other players, so they can edit alongside you in real-time. It's like smalltalk for VR.
