🐝 Bluesky/Atmosphere (SB Commentary)

guys this is why we can’t have nice things “Naturally, X owner Elon Musk and CEO Linda Yaccarino have capitalized on this unrest, with the former posting that Bluesky is a “bunch of super judgy hall monitors” and the latter proclaiming that X is the “true” global town square.

Reddit 🤝 Bluesky

It's not much but at least we surpassed Truth Social here and I'm okay with that. #bluesky #socialMedia #us #usa #uspol #pew #research

Twitter feels like yelling into the void, bluesky feels like talking to real people

trans & queer shitposters built bsky 🦋🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🫶

the tumblr/bluesky overlap is fascinating to me I think I see bluesky in bio over there more than any other platform

The real trick to success on bluesky is to make sure you don’t just post and close the app. Engage. Treat users like equals. Everyone is a poster here so the audience is different. People won’t care if you don’t reciprocate.

& this is a fun thing but when you’re new to Bluesky, it’s p common to have a pinned intro post with a bit about you (maybe your links if you want) you can attach a pic if you want :3 and some people ask for moots if you do this, you can tag #promosky, meant to help ex-twt users find each other

For science, I’m curious, do you usually use Bluesky on web or via mobile app? or a secret third option?

you can turn off reposts for individual accounts on deck.blue 💙 pretty cool #bluesky

my brain on bsky: everyone is so beautiful. everyone is so talented. porn is art. i have never seen so much lovely art from smaller creators on any platform before. i cant believe the internet has been suppressing so much good content that could have gone so far

I didn't choose the Bluesky life, the Bluesky life chose me

I hope also this inspires some others to "just do things". Social media is broken but Bluesky is different. Make it even more different. Your personal background gives you a unique perspective that no one else has. What do you see that others don't? What can you do about it?

Bluesky time can be measured in BFE and AFE (before furries era and after furries era)

Giving non-builders the tools to build a better internet is how we fix the internet

I do a lot of what I do because I want to see women win.

cool off-label uses for semble I saw today. IMO it's not just useful for "research streams" (though that is also very cool and fun etc) 1. semble collections as a moodboard/visual feed (@seductivelysoul.art - semble.so/profile/seductivelysoul.art/c…) (continued..)

The language of devs and community builders here is not accessible for the average person to understand and I think that’s a big wall a lot of builders don’t seem to be aware of People can’t care if they don’t understand - even at the most basic level. They don’t have to understand it all.
