Absent private data, has anyone experimented with encrypted event streams and some sort of auth gated private key exchange at the AppView level? I’m not really trying to solve for security so much as I am trying to solve for the ability to create a contract between a data source and an AppView

Do you think that atproto data would be considered properly owned by the account individual? Would be interesting implications if that public data fall under search and seizure rights.

This is not a leak. It is public information all our users have given consent when they verified

Thanks for raising this. Our technical team has reviewed the reported issue. While we do not assess it as posing a risk to user identity data, we take all reports seriously and have already implemented mitigations and additional safeguards.

Emerging from being "down in the technical weeds" of #atproto is a little mashup of @semble.so & WayFinder (wayfinders.network) Semble team released "open collections" this week - here we explore the "private & permissioned data" collection, created by @bmann.ca & now with 3 other contributors

The application has remained stable since approximately 9 PM PDT, April 16 despite ongoing Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks. We have not seen any evidence of unauthorized access to private user data. We will provide a further update by end of day.

There is one area with Permissioned Data Spaces that I haven't seen discussed. It reveals that data is currently stored in the (I think I'm coining a term here) *Public Space* on Personal Data Servers. Remember, most people on Bluesky aren't aware of where their data is stored, or what that means.

I haven't been keeping up with the private data development... 🥸 Can someone let me know if records will be able to easily move between private and public?
