I wrote my first #atproto community discourse topic. Pretty simple idea, but can be a good groundwork for private data, group-owned data or off-protocol data.

Conversation here is very helpful framing for ATProto builders. The protocol has re-created the opportunity to restore the web as an open curation ecosystem that isn't controlled by any one platform, built not just on links between pages, but on the relationships between people, links and sources.

I’ll throw my hat in the discourse ring. here’s an app I’m working on that’s very much going to be used outside the atproto-dev-sphere and the little explainer that went along with sign in. design not final, copy not final, etc. etc.

hello this is my take on discourse: i don’t think hiding atproto or keeping it out of normie’s view is right. you do have to meet people where they are though, which is why starting with “atproto…” is usually not the best idea (usually =/= always). but atproto **is** a selling point and leaving it
