Would you like an easy personal research website generator backed by @sifa.id and other atmosphere apps/data? ( @semble.so for library, @standard.site for blog, etc ) Inspired by the academicpages.github.io template all of us researchers use 😅
Sifa ID
Here's an early POC for a "personal website" run entirely on Sifa (and more atproto) data: sifa.id/p/gui.do/site (just append /site to your own profile to see it in action) You can also self-host it: github.com/singi-labs/sifa-academicpages

Static site generators
I’ve been looking for a decent static site generator to build a simple, 10-page-or-so documentation site, and I’m failing. Here are some notes on my journey, to serve as a warning sign to future travellers, and thoughts on what static site generators could do better.
Static Site Generators Reviewed: Jekyll, Middleman, Roots, Hugo — Smashing Magazine
In this article, Mathias Biilmann Christensen will look at four popular static website generators — Jekyll, Middleman, Roots, Hugo — in far more detail. This should give you a great starting point for finding the right one for your project. A lot of other ones are out there, but the ones Mathias chose for this article represent the different trends that dominate the landscape today. While static websites have been around since the beginning of the Internet, modern static website generation is just getting started. Use, share, improve, enjoy. Welcome to modern static website technology!

Introducing Sequoia: Publishing for the Open Web
Today I'm excited to release a new tool for the AT Protocol: Sequoia. This is a CLI tool that can take your existing self-hosted blog and publish it to the ATmosphere using Standard.site lexicons.

My website is now on the Atmosphere! I've been building atproto apps for a while (@skyreader.app, Skyboard, SembleIt). Now my website is one too. Blog posts are @standard.site records on my PDS, rendered by a SvelteKit app. But also... 1/2 disnetdev.com/blog/an-atmospheric-website
