Damn this Atmosphere hole runs deep. I now "accidentally" have done imports from LinkedIn to @sifa.id and from Goodreads to @bookhive.buzz And what I really like is that I can see people that I follow on bsky there without any extra effort. E.g. @viet.shy.cat seems to be all over the Atmosphere :)

Embracing the Atmosphere

thinking about doing a linkblog where I can separate out small posts from my bsky that are mini news about the atmosphere, targeted at people who are not already in the know. @bmann.ca where is best to do this these days? I tried skyreader and the flow is too cumbersome atm.
If you havent been following @jeremy.herve.bzh's learning journey through the world of atmosphere dev you're missing out!

I kept wondering why I appeared as "debbieohi.selfhosted.social" instead; turns out I accidentally created an extra account. 🤦🏽♀️ I confess I kept assuming "Atmosphere" was some other kind of platform! cont'd

The New York Times is now blocking The Wayback Machine from accessing its articles. That means you'll no longer be able to view archived versions of NYT stories published in 2026 and beyond on archive.org. (All those posts you see tracking changes to NYT headlines and ledes? They relied on WBM).
Hello! I've been at Bluesky for a bit over a month now and have a lot of thoughts, which are now going to be tucked away in this cute lil blog on @pckt.blog First up: Atmospheric Groups, an effort that we are working on in the Atmosphere community that I'm very excited about 👀👀

this is my preferred pattern for atmosphere apps that are wanting to ”reuse” or “integrate” the bluesky social graph/lexicon don’t make me automatically follow everyone i follow on bluesky, but make it easy to find/discover/import my bluesky social graph (or other social graphs) on my own terms

yeah i really like this, though it would be nice to be able to quickly “discover” users you follow on bluesky who also are active on grain and quickly follow them @chadtmiller.com
